About Ted
I'm Ted. I'm not a pro, not a content creator, not affiliated with anybody. Just another gamer who has been playing this stuff for over 25 years.
The ones that stuck earliest were the original Battlefields. A lot of 1942, and then a whole lot of Battlefield 2. That's still my benchmark: a big map, a squad that actually talks, and a fight that flips because five people decided to do the same thing at the same time. Nothing about that has aged for me.
Why WARDOGS got me
More recently I've been deep in Squad, which scratches the tactical itch but asks for a particular kind of evening. WARDOGS lands in between. It's more casual than that. You can hop in for a round solo or with friends, and just have some fun with the sandbox.
The other half is the meta game. Build up that cash, work towards unlocks and leveling the XP tracks.. I've put serious hours into Escape from Tarkov, so progression & the risk of losing cash is exactly the hook I fall for.
What this blog is
My little place to write things down. That's it.
I play, I notice something, I put it here. My learnings about little unexplained mechanics. Some of it is thoughts on why a system works the way it does. Some of it is just a story from a round that went sideways, plus screenshots and the occasional clip when I catch something worth keeping. We'll see. I'll put down my thoughts and share experiences as I go.
What it isn't: a guide site, a patch-note reposter, or a place where I pretend to know numbers I haven't checked myself. Damage testing & metas are figured out by the community asap anyways.
Good place to start is 7 Things You Only Figure Out After 10 Hours of WARDOGS. If you want to argue with any of it, I'm around in the WARDOGS Discord.
